Day off today!
As usual, it is a day of doing laundry, drying the tent, planning, booking, and eating.
On Dec. 26, we will canoe on the Whanganui River for 3 days. It is part of the "trail." The operator is based here in Taumarunui.
Today, we buy all our food for the canoe trip, and in the afternoon, the canoe operator picks up our groceries and keeps them until we will be paddling, which is planned to start from a place called Whakahoro.
