Te Araroa, Day 58

I slept well and started early at 6:15 am. The first 14 km were along an empty black sand beach. I enjoyed the emptiness and the beautiful morning.

Then there is a 3 km walk through a private forest before I am back on the road, walking another 17 km on rural roads.

The last 4 km don't seem to end. I feel tired, and my feet start hurting a lot; they just don't like the paved roads.

Bulls is a strange town. They have sculptures of bulls standing around everywhere, strange signs, and a painted garage door from the police station.
