Today from Levin to Otaki is just along the highway. It is exhausting. The sun is like it is here: burning like a laser.
Walking out of Levin we pass a huge Santa Claus:
And then there is a knight with his horse and an old tractor next to the highway:
The highway is as always, sometimes with shoulder, sometimes without:
I am glad when we reach Otaki Motel.
The Motel has spacious rooms and I am fascinated by an oven / stove from the sixties that is part of the kitchenette:
Tomorrow's section will be more interesting. There will still be some highway walk but not only that...
